The Drameco history

Drameco was founded in 1973 in Coevorden. The general manager at the time, J.B Wesseling, started making wire baskets for stores and industrial transport containers in a small hall with two other partners. Apart from wire products, more and more other metal products were developed over the years, like tubing, strips and sheeting. Since 2000, Ard Wesseling has been in charge. The business grew from 8 people in 1973 to the current headcount of 50 employees. The production area grew from 600 m2 to 10,000 m2 and Drameco now has a modern fabric of production, its own epoxy line and a logistics centre. In 2005 the decision was made to start a branch in Wittlich, Germany and in 2009 a close partnership was started with POS-Factory int. in Roosendaal, the Netherlands.
